I’ve never met a Belgian I didn’t like. This one is, by far, my favourite. Amazingly rich, full bodied, chocolatey, and creamy, this quadrupel will knock you flat on your ass at 10.5% alcohol. It’s not exactly Trappist, but who’s keeping tabs?
$10-12 for a pint bottle. Drink from a Trappist glass.
I may have a Spanish/Argentinian obsession lately. Buy this one. It’s casual and refreshing.

Let it breathe a little before drinking. It’s full-bodied, dry, and not-quite-pucker-inducing, so pair it with food it won’t overpower (read: steak over orange wood). Feels old. You can definitely taste the oak in this one
